Definition and importance of plant physiology; seed physiology; enzymes and their mechanism of action; the importance of water for plants and transpirations; taking and transport of plant nutrients; photosynthesis and its significance for living organisms; respiration and its importance for living organisms; photosynthesis-respiration relationship.

3) Germination and the factors effected germination
4) The concept of dormancy, vernalization and chilling
5) Metabolism, anabolism and enzymes
6) Action mechanism of enzymes and its classification
7) The factors affecting enzymes

9) The importance of water for plants
10) The structure and duties of plant roots
11) Absorbtion and transport of water and nutrients from soil
12) The concept of transpiration and its importance for plants
13) Photosynthesis, photosynthetic pigments and its importance for plant and living organisms
14) Chlorophyll and the factors affecting photosynthesis
15) Respiration and its importance for plants and compared with photosynthesis
