1) Define the basic concepts of general microbiology.
2) Explain nomenclature, cell structure and forms of microorganisms.
3) Classify microorganisms according to their cell structures and growth conditions and other characteristics.
4) Explain nutritional needs, nutrition types and growth forms of microorganisms.
5) Explain growth conditions, inactivation or decontamination methods of microorganisms.
7) Define the importance of microorganisms in growing harvesting, storage and processing of medicinal and aromatic plants (MAPs),
8) Apply some laboratory practices before microbiological inoculations such as media preparation, sterilization, microscope usage, etc.
