Course Contents

Physical, chemical and bacteriological characteristics of water, water quality parameters, the effects of toxic pollutants on aquatic ecosystem. pollution of lakes, effects of pollution on aquatic ecosystem, Oxygen balance of contaminated streams calculations, water supply, water treatment technologies, legislation, noise pollution, soil pollution, radioactive pollution wiil be discussed throughout the term.

7) Protection of water resources, treatment techniques of polluted water, physical, chemical and biological treatment of wastewater.
