Matter and its properties. Classification and separation of the substance. Atomic structure. Periodic Table. Writing and naming compounds. The concept of the mole. The number of moles and molecular mass calculations. Solutions and their properties. Resolution. Concentration in solution. Molarity and normality calculations. Acid and base definitions. pH and pOH calculations. Acid base titration, and neutralization.
