Course Contents

Throughout this course, introduction to pathology, pathology functions, pathology laboratory operation and basic tasks, work principles, cell injury, adaptation and cell death, the etiology of the diseases, liquid - electrolyte balance disorders, blood circulation disorders, regressive changes and drug accumulation in cells,immünopatoloji, acute and chronic inflammation and repair,pathology and cytology laboratory techniques used for tissue, microscopy and staining methods, pathology laboratory, occupational safety and protection rules, Carcinogenic factors and tumor biology will be analyzed.

5) Tissue handling for histology and cytology in a pathology laboratory
6) Microscopy and dying methods
7) Biological and psycological basis of disease

9) Tissue injury and repair, aging and adaptation, intracellular accumlulations
10) Haemodinamic disorders
11) Acute and chronic inflammation
12) Immunology, hypersensitivity reactions and autoimmune diseases
13) Neoplasia: classification, epidemiology and terminology
14) Tumor biology, molecular and genetic basis carcinogenesis, carcinogens
15) Diagnosis and prevention of neoplasia and basic principles of treatment of cancer.
16) Final examination
