Course Contents

In this course students are provided with knowledge on nutritional care in horses, horse nutrition and feeding practice,introduction of feed, forage and grains, types of hays , grass and pasture feed, concentrate feed, basic information for feeding the horses, the nutrient requirements of horses , body requirements, feeding of mares, feeding of yearlings, , nutrition of sports horses, feeding information, types of feeds, horse digestion system and use of nutration tables and feeding charts.
