Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
1) 1 - Recognizes and uses a variety of wax used in jewelry.
2) 2- Production methods and techniques of wax model knows
3) 3- simple geometric forms (cube, cylinder, triangular prism) does with wax material and makes it suitable for casting
4) 4- Knows the technique of Relief, know the concepts of light-shadow and gap-occupancy
5) 5- makes jewelry with wax material and makes it suitable for casting
6) 6 - after casting makes the leveling process and creates a finished product.

Course Contents
Cutting, drilling, engraving, filing, sanding techniques in wax meterrial, relief technique, light-shadow and make jewelry by using the concepts of space-occupancy in wax meterial
Weekly Schedule
1) Presentation of material used in making jewelry wax2) Wax and use of the materials used in the processing of (spatulas scraping wax ,wax rasps, soldering iron and the adapter ,saws, wax saws,steel compass-ruler, set square)
3) And grading process of merging two different piece of wax
4) Wax on the block will be removed by cutting steel, steel ruler and compass measurements of the form transfer
5) Geometric forms are cut with saws removal wax blocks
6) Hollowing of the form issued by cutting
7) Leveling process
8) Midterm examination/Assessment
9) Relief narrative technique applied
10) Relief work
11) Information covering the period of jewelry making techniques, all using a wax model
