Course Contents

1. The aim , subjects and types of Lighting 2. Introduction and definition of the light and visibility 3. Photometric laws *Cosine law *Inverse proportion to the square of the distance law *Lambert law *Different geometry of the light source to examine the distribution of light … 4. Fundamentals of light production, 5. Lighting calculations, Indoor and outdoor average illumination ranges, (Hospital, mosque, sport facilities, garden, museum,mall lighting projects…) 6. Lighting design and installation aspects, 7. Lighting objectives, Lighting criteria. 8. Architectural drawing of illumination projects. Illumination calculation in illumination projects. Drawing of wiring schemes and project control.
