Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) Developing the subsurface complex geological features in the form of geophysical models (Idealization).
2) Gravite, manyetik, elektrik, elektromanyetik ve sismik yansıma yöntemlerinde düz çözümü uygular. Applying the forward solution in gravity, magnetic, electrical, electromagnetic and seismic reflection methods.
3) Defining the concept of the linear and nonlinear inverse solution in geophysical modelling.
4) Calculating the physical parameters in linear inverse solution with least squares method.
5) Calculating the geometrical parameters in nonlinear inverse solution with least squares method.
6) Defining the concept of the optimization in geophysical modelling.
