Description and features of research microscope. Characterstics of normal and polarized light. Conoscopic features of minerals. Dispersion, phase difference, delay and path difference. Isotrop and single refractive minerals. Anisotrop and double refractive minerals. Uniaxal optic signs and dispersion, Optical signs and dispersion of biaxial minerals. Optical features and identification of magmatic rocks forming minerals. Optical features and identification of metamorfic rocks forming minerals.
