Sedimentology
The processes of the weathering, sedimentation and diagenesis. Water, ice, wind and its affects on mechanical weathering. Chemical weathering processes. Carbonisation, oxidation, hydration, reduction and dissolution processes. Climatic types and general properties . Sedimentary processes in depositioning environments. Minerals stability. Submarine weathering processes and product. Transporting and depositioning of clastic and non- clastic (chemical and biogenic) sediments.
