Course Contents

Relationship between stress and strain. Mineralogical and petrographical parameters determining geo-environmental conditions. Fluids in metamorphic rocks. Metamorphic-Metasomatic symplectites. Deformation of some rock forming minerals. Metamorphic minerals. Relationships between structure and texture in metamorphic rocks and their interpretations. Some special textures in the metamorphic rocks and their indications for metamorphic conditions.
