Introduction to Welding Technology Electron Beam Welding (EBW) applications in Aviation Laser Welding (EBW) applications in Aviation Gas Tungsten Arc Welding applications in Aviation Microstructure and mechanical properties changes occurring after a welding process in materials used in aviation (nickel alloys and stainless steels). Microstructure and mechanical properties changes occurring after a welding process in materials used in aviation (titanium alloys, aluminum alloys). Flaws occurring in the weld and their effect on the performance of a component structure. Repair and maintenance resource in aircraft components Destructive test methods applied to welded joints and their evaluation (Metallographic applications, tensile test, bending test, impact test, and hardness test applications) Non-Destructive test methods applied to welded joints and their evaluation (ultrasonic test, radiographic test, penetrant test, and magnetic particle test applications)
