Botanical characteristics of fruit, vegetable and ornamental plants; varieties; production-consumption data; import; physiology and biochemistry (growth, development, maturation and senescence); causes of postharvest losses; prevention methods of losses (cold storage, controlled atmosphere storage, modified atmosphered storage, packaging methods).
