Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) Perform instrument selection, explains measurement errors, calibration, the general components of measurement systems, potentiometer and bridge circuits, perform force and torque measurements, performs measurements of velocity and speed, perform dynamic pressure and frequency measurements.
2) Perform mechanical power and efficiency measurements, perform linear power, shaft power, cylinder power and friction measurements.
3) Perform liquid level and amount measurements, perform angle and angular displacement emasurements.
4) Perform stress measurement, perform vibration and noise measurement, apply advanced methods in fluid velocity and flowrate measurements.
5) Apply advanced methods in temperature and pressure measurements, measure thermal and transport properties of fluids.
