Introduction. Structural fundamentals of the pnomatic tires. Tire-road interaction and pressure distribution. Motion of the tire and the rolling resistance. Tangential force transfer of the tires and sliding. Diagonal motion of the tires. Directional inputs and responses of the vehicle. The steering system and its geometry.
