1) At the end of the course, the students should learn combustion analysis, air pollution and the impact of air pollution vehicles; emission standards, the basic and alternative fuels used in internal combustion engines, fuels and emissions impact of the physical and chemical properties; in engine combustion event; emissions (HC, NOx, CO, CO2, PM, etc.. ) formation, the emission control techniques; engine design and electronic control systems, EGR, catalytic converters.

Combustion and Thermochemistry; properties of air-fuel mixtures, thermodynamics 1 law-energy balance; formation enthalpy, heat values??, adiabatic flame temperature, combustion spark ignition engines, compression ignition combustion engines, combustion analysis, air pollution and the impact of air pollution are vehicles, emission standards, basic and alternative fuels used in internal combustion engines, fuels physical and chemical properties and effect of emissions; motors combustion event; emissions (HC, NOx, CO, CO2, PM, etc..) formation, the emission control techniques, motor design and electronic control systems, EGR, catalytic converters.
