Introduction to air conditioning and refrigeration, analysis of vapour compression refrigeration cycle, refrigerants, psychrometric chart, analyzing various air conditioning processes, thermal comfort, introduction to vehicle air conditioning systems, systems with orifice tube and thermostatic expansion valve, mechanical and electrical components of automotive air conditioning systems, evaluating experimental performance of an automobile air conditioning system, bus air conditioning systems, using service manifold and vacuum pump, service procedures applied to vehicle air conditioning systems, use of service station, calculating heating and cooling loads for vehicles.
