Teaching number sense, constructing number system, natural numbers, operations with natural numbers, integers, factoring, divisibility rules, GCD and LCD with applications, ratio, proportion with applications, real numbers, exponents and radicals, fractions, decimals, percents, rational and irrational numbers, sets and other related concepts. Designing course content, selecting appropriate instructional materials and strategies. Student knowledge of related number concepts including understanding and interpreting student thinking, student difficulties and misconceptions, and their resources.
