Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit
1) Examine the main problems regading multinational enterprises and the proposed legal solutions to these problems.
2) Identify the problems created by Multinational enterprises.
3) List the laws and regulations applicable to Multinational enterirses.
4) Explain the concepts of company, multinational company, lifting the corporate veil, limited liability.
5) Discuss the jurisdiction rule regarding the liability of multinational enterprises arising from their activities.

To provide a comprehensive, interdisciplinary, study of the business and legal organisation of MNEs and of the regulation of their activities; To do so in relation to both the principal commercial and social issues raised by their operations; To examine the regulatory environment for international business by dealing with sub-national, national, regional and multilateral policies and rules for the regulation of MNEs.
