Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) Be equipped with the basic knowledge about emergence of trade union movement and its phases in industrialized countries
2) Develop skills to conduct comparative analysis on structure of trade union of industrialized countries
3) Be equipped with the basic knowledge about unionization in England, Germany. France, Sweden and Jaoan and evaluate economical and environmental effects on trade unions
4) Generate scenarios related to the trade union movement in England, Germany, Sweden and Japan
5) Evaluate the future of trade unions in Turkey based on trade union movements in industrialised countries
