1) Being equipped with the basic knowledge regarding main aspects and current problems of European labour relations.
2) Recognizing current developments in the fields of unionization, collective bargaining and dispute settlement mechanisms
3) Conducting research and study regarding current developments in European labour relations
4) Explaining negative affects of globalization and neoliberal policies on European labour relations
5) Follow up-to-date developments of the representetive and social dialogues of workers

Course Contents
This course equips candidates with in-depth knowledge on recent developments and trends in the different fields of labour relations (trade union density, collective bargaining, mechanism of dispute settlements and social dialogue) in the EU and member countries level will be evaluated; European trade unions, employers’ associations, decline in the trade union membership, changing of collective bargaining level, and new development in social dialogue mechanisms.
