Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) Evaluating current rules of Labour and Social Security Law and its sufficiency in front of problems of economic and social policies.
2) Explaining concept of Social Security, the historical development of Social Security Systems.
3) Having knowledge about the application area, administration, finance of social insurence, the varieties of social insurence, long term social insurance varieties, unemployment insurance, general health insurance, personal pension savings and investment system, social security system without social contributions, social aid and social services in Turkish social security law as a part of Law no 5510.
4) Defining Social Security in International Law and European Law, modern sets and dimension of Social Security.
5) Having knowledge about the issues on Turkish Social Security Law field and related legislation
