The aim of this course is to introduce key debates and themes for comprehending the politics of Turkey and special attention will be given to the examination of cultural context, institutional structure, socio-political processes, as well as movements and developments that affect the shaping of the political system of the country.Since this course is being taught in Turkey, the students need to employ the surrounding social environment to enhance available conventional pedagogical tools.
