Course Contents

In this course, towards the end of the 20th century, which has become widespread and effective social movements will be discussed. The subjects will be dealt with at the conceptual level, as well as readings, case studies and current debates will also be assessed. Will be investigated around the themes of the urban movements which have become increasingly important in recent years such as, housing, transportation, and healthy urban environment, urban renewal, and in rural areas the local actions which are on the basis of environment, water and so on rights, created by the emerging problem fields such as dams, mining, industrial constructions, the reasons proceed, the request, the social composition, structure and maintenance of social and political functions.
