1) Learn political, economic and social structure of Turkey from past to present
2) Make a criticism about social problems of Turkey.
3) Have a background in the process of developing some suggestions in social problems not only in politics but also economics.
4) To develop some suggestions in social problems of Turkey from communication perspective.
5) Present before an audience the results and outcome of any exercise.

Course Contents
To understand Turkey’s social structure, effects of Ottoman’s heritage should be referred. Reflections of the economic, political, cultural and social structure of Otoman Empire to the Turkish Republic, effects of Ottoman modernism, social structure shaped by revolutions, efforts for democratization, efforts passing to the multi-party system, form the the content of this course.
