Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) Recognize mass media in shaping political behavior and political communication applications.
2) List which strategies to achieve effective results in political election campaigns should be applied.
3) List political communication strategies of political actors and how they are determined in the communication process; separation of the target audience, the voters analysis.
4) Recognize successful and unsuccessful political election campaigns in the light of examples from around the world and Turkey.
5) Recognize opinion surveys, voter preferences' effectivenes, the media's role in public opinion research, political public relations and advertising practices.
