1) Recognize comprehension, strategies and the technics of administrative, educational and supporter supervision.
2) Recognize leadership, skill development, determining objectives, management of time and the other sources, following and evaluation of performance, in-service training and planning etc.
3) Explain role, content and importance of supervision in social work practice.
4) Define the structure and the functions of social work organizations.
5) Evaluate needs, learning styles, and performance of a diverse workforce.
6) Explain principles in designing and evaluating staff development and training initiatives.
7) Determine supervision, and staff development and training within the context of social work values and ethics.

Course Contents

This course equips candidates with in-depth knowledge on strategies and the technics of administrative, educational and supporter supervision, importance of supervision in social work practice, leadership, skill development, determining objectives, management of time and the other sources, following and evaluation of performance, in-service training and planning.
