1) To be able to analyze comparatively the features of 20th and 21st century working life, and evaluate the effects of these changes in paradigm shift in career counselling.
2) To know standard of competencies for career counsellors.
3) To know the process of career counselling.
4) To learn contemporary approaches in the field of career counselling deeply.
5) To be able to describe the main assumptions and concepts of career development theories.
6) To understand factors that influence individual career development
7) To help the clients to prepare their individual career goals and put them into action.
8) To be able to evaluate controversial career counseling theries and their compatibility with Turkish culture.
9) To be able to use different career theories and models to help the clients.
10) To have the knowledge and the skills for using computer assisted career counselling systems
