Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) Recognising and Evaluating the I'jazz of the Qur'an: The student defines the i'jazz of the Qur'an and understands this concept. Evaluates the elements that make up the i'jazz and can distinguish the differences between different views.
2) Analysing and interpreting the literary aspects of the Qur'an: The student can analyse the Qur'an from literary aspects and interpret its style and i'jazz. Recognise literary elements in the texts and evaluate these elements in various contexts.
3) Generalising and Analysing the Qur'anic Imjaz: The student reaches generalisations by bringing together the elements of i'jazz in the Qur'an. Analyses the texts systematically and makes general inferences from these analyses.
4) Understanding the relationship of the Qur'an with other sciences: The student analyses the relationship of the Qur'an with various Arabic rhetoric and other sciences. Understands how sciences such as linguistics, tafsir, fiqh emphasise the i'jazz of the Qur'an and comprehends this relationship.
5) While gaining the ability to understand, analyse and interpret the literary and rhetorical features of the Qur'an, it also enables them to understand the relationship of the Qur'an with other sciences.
