Biosafety in Life Sciences Laboratories
"Bio" means life and "security" means protection. Therefore; Biosafety refers to guarantee of the life. Clinical and research laboratory employees have to face various hazards and biological risk factors in the working environment due to laboratory structures and regulations. Aim of biosafety, employees, other people and the environment is to protect from potentially dangerous agents. In this course, for maximum self protection / protection; students are 1- Description of Biosafety and Principles of Biosafety 2- Basic laboratory practices and techniques, 3- Biosafety equipments 4- Laboratory designs will learn about.
