1) Synthesize the guides used in midwifery, care standards and protocols.
2) Reflect the evidence– based practices in the field of midwifery.
3) Use the methods releiving the pain during the birth.

5) Use the effective partography and having in –service education together with her coleagues.
6) Cooperate the pathologic delivery along with the other health disciplinaries.
7) Design prenatal and postnatal courses under the guidence of expert.

Course Contents

Evidence-based practice obstetrics (labor, birth, breastfeeding, postpartum period) midwifery is used in our country and the world guides, protocols and standards of care, midwifery practices and culture, labor, and birth pharmacological and non-pharmacological methods, and philosophy of natural birth, prenatal and postnatal education and management classes, home birth and midwifery and birth centers practices, vaginal birth after cesarean section, obstetric emergencies and responsibility of midwives, complementary and alternative therapies and midwifery, related to obstetrics and analysis of the studies.
