Difficulties in digestion after absorption of orally ingested nutrients are generally associated with understanding the changes that occur on proteins at the molecular level. Within the scope of this course, the absorption and digestion mechanisms of carbohydrates, fats and proteins, which are the basic molecular groups, and the enzymatic pathways that play a role in these processes will be emphasized.
