Course Contents

Candidates are provided with in-depth knowledge on statistical thermodynamical approach to thermodynamical parameters, reaction kinetics and mass transfer, Boltzman distribution, molecular partition function, statistical methods to calculate energy, entropy, gibbs free energy, heat capacity, and pressure, kinetic theory of gases, statistical thermodynamics approach to activated complex theory, diffusion equations, diffusionally controlled reactions.
