2) Apply “contextual design” as a method to understand users’ work in context, in order to reveal underlying practices, motivations, and goals
3) Explore tools for evaluating potential designs
4) Walk through a prototype, product, or service, and apply an expert review
5) Perform web analytics to understand how people are using the web
6) Implement a technique called think aloud to evaluate how people are using a prototype, product, or service
7) Write reports on findings that speak to users’ needs
