Candidates are provided with in-depth knowledge on urban transformation of the cities mainly since the end of the 20th. except the architectural dimension of transformation, the multi-dimensional nature of the city, conversion process of the historic centers of the cities, the effects of the urban transformation to the cultural heritage, examples of transformation from the World and Turkey, urban continuity on the international guidelines and regulations such as Disaster Law, Law No. 2863 and 5366 current arrangements in Turkey, the transformation process such as Istanbul, Ankara, İzmit which experienced transformation, places affected by the status of the multi-dimensional and layered process, international contemporary examples, the transformation of Turkey within the framework of universal principles and realities, and monitoring the situation with field studies.
