2) Recognize the principles needed in the project documents preparation phase of green building construction
3) Implement different project management approaches that can be followed for green building construction
4) Compare international green building certification systems such as BREEAM, LEED, GreenStar, and CASBEEE
5) Develop solutions for energy and water efficiency, sustainable materials and site use, indoor environmental quality and occupant health in green building construction
6) Manage certification process of green buildings

Course Contents

Candidates are provided with in-depth knowledge on sustainability, sustainable building construction, definition of sustainable/eco/green building, green building production,project management and its principles, types of international green building certification systems, LEED, BREEAM, CASBEE, SBTool, Greenstar, comparison of green building certification systems, green building certification process, project management in green building construction, integrated design in green building construction, energy and water efficiency in buildings, materials and resources management, using proper materials for green building construction, sustainable site use, increasing indoor environmental quality, building occupants' health, waste and recycling management, management of green building certification process, project team qualities in green building construction.
