Course Contents

Concepts on rural space, characteristics and planning of rural space, rural space in the world, rural space and development plans in Turkey, rural development, ecovillages, rural space and tourism, rural space guide book, socio-cultural studies on rural space, rural spaces in the 21 st century and contemporary rural spaces, suburbanization and problems created by the suburbanization in the countryside, sample area selection and determine the current situation of selected area, development of analysis method based on studies on rural space,development of suggestions related to sample area through current situation determination and analysis

1) Examining and discussing concepts on rural space: Rural, village, rural area, rural settlements, rural architecture, vernacular architecture, architecture without an architect, traditional architecture, primitive architecture, folk architecture
