In this course, the transgenic plant will be defined, the necessity of transgenic plants will be discussed, genetic transformation techniques used in plants will be explained, the examples of transgenic plant applications will be given and biosafety regulations will be explained in world and in our country. Also recent publications will be followed to be aware of current developments
