Plant Physiology

Course Contents

In this course, the respiratory mechanism that is common to all eukaryotic organisms but differs in some aspects in plants will be explained. The content of the course consists of glycolysis steps, alternative glycolysis reactions in plants, regulation of glycolysis in plants, fermentation, citric acid cycle, ETS, respiration in plant tissues and organs, factors affecting respiration rate, the relationship of respiration with other metabolic pathways, respiratory quotients.
