Course Contents

Candidates are provided with knowledge on Research Methods the relationship between theory-method, through qualitative research methods; the basic stages and the requirements of an ethnographic field study; qualitative research methods and techniques, theory-method research problem / question of controversy addressed through the various examples such as in-depth interviews, focus group interviews, text analysis ( through materials like novels, memoirs, movies and so on.) discourse analysis (via news text), oral history and memory work,archival research.
