Course Contents

This course focuses on the concept of "technology", which appears as the qualifier of the age we live in, through definitions such as information age, digital age, technology age. Technology is a set of methods, practices and tools necessary for the functioning of a culture, in this definition it is directly related to the social and cultural. Technology has had different meaning loads in different historical periods. Within the scope of this course, different narratives about technology and theories will be handled through the periods they belong to and their relationship with social and cultural practices will be analyzed.
