Today the increase in competition with the number of airline companies has made it necessary to establish strong partnerships and to become stronger in the sector by making purchases. In this course, the basic elements of airline financing and the economic dynamics of the airline sector will be discussed, the sources of funds that the sector can use, the analysis techniques used to reveal the financial performance of the companies and the long-term financial planning approach will be examined. In this context, the sector will examine the economic gains of collaborations with transport companies, airport operators, ground service providers, cargo agencies and international organizations. Differences in the economics of various carrier business models (full-service carriers, low cost carriers, ultra low cost carriers and charter companies) will be analyzed with examples.
