This course is mainly concerned with the coordination of multiple value-creating processes, including the management of material, information and financial flows. Overcoming global competition and possessing advanced information technologies, many airline companies have begun to follow different strategies to reduce costs and have increased sensitivity to changes in the market. This course will provide students with the necessary knowledge and tools to develop, implement and maintain strategies for managing supply chain issues in aviation. The course covers topics such as supply chain analysis, supply chain network design, supply-demand planning, inventory management, pricing and cash management.
