Course Contents

General information about biomolecules such as carbohydrates, lipid, and protein. Understanding the importance of metabolism and discussing anabolic and catabolic reactions. Understanding carbohydrate metabolism: Enzymes and regulation in glycolysis and glycolysis. TCA cycle, ETZ and oxidative phosphorylation and ATP generation. Enzymes involved in lipid and protein metabolism, reaction steps and metabolism and regulation. Gluconeogenesis, reaction steps and enzymes involved in this pathway and regulation. The teaching of metabolic diseases.
