Course Contents

Candidates are provided with in-depth knowledge on The human genome and its chromosomes, structure and function of chromosomes, cell division, human gametogenesis and fertilization, medical relavance of mitosis and meiosis, principles of clinical cytogenetics, the origins and consequences of chromosomal pathology, chromosome abnormalities, parent-of-origin effects, studies of chromosomes in human meiosis, mendelian disorders with cytogenetic effects, cytogenetic analysis in cancer.
