Course Contents

This course includes classification of cosmetic preparations, basic operations used in cosmetics production, dynamics and mechanics of fluids , chemistry of surface active substances, the features and preparation of cosmetic preparate shapes (emulsions, suspensions, aerosols and other colloidal systems), viscosity, surface tension, equipment used in production, filling and packaging forms, chemical processes used in production.

2) Concepts of heat and temperature, thermometric body, temperature units to each other conversion, heat transfer mechanisms, heat units conversions
3) The properties of liquid, vapor pressure, vapor-liquid equilibrium
4) Evaporation, distillation and extraction
5) Surface tension and surface tension between the concepts and calculation of surface tension
6) Viscosity concept, calculation, measurement methods viscosity, viscosimeter types and viscosity measurement
7) Rheological properties of fluids and flow types Rheological applications in cosmetics
8) Midterm examination/Assessment
9) Cosmetic preparations and the properties of colloidal systems, emulsion, suspension, etc.. Preparing the way preparations
