6) Question the policies about unemployment and employment.
7) Evaluate the shift in welfare state and perspectives on its future.
8) Evaluate the development of social policy in Turkey with regard to human rights in the light of international norms.

Course Contents

Besides teaching the theoretical and conceptional frame of social policy, the practical side will also studied. In this course, in addition to historical development of social policy, today's developments and it's affects will also discussed. Crises of welfare state, conditions of working class and unions and discourses about the solutions will be studied, as well.
