1) To explain basic concepts about social planning and social development.
2) To analyse the concepts of social planning, social development and social change.
3) To express social development process and approaches about it, the relationship between social policy and social planning.
4) To have knowledge on the planned period and the historical development path of social policy in Turkey.

Course Contents
In this course, the concepts about social planning and social development will be discussed. In this context, their relationships with social change, the processes of social development and social policy will be explained. Besides, the main aim of the course is to analyse the planned development periods and 5-year planned development plans in Turkey.
