Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) To have knowledge about characteristics of collective bargaining and forming a contract.
2) To have knowledge about collective bargaining law rules and its field of application.
3) To have knowledge about changing and ending collecitve bargaining.
4) To have knowledge about collective labour dispute and solutions, strike and locout - as part of law no 6356.
5) To have knowledge about strike and locout bans, illegal strike and lockout.

Course Contents

In this course, in turn; General information about unions, Union freedom and right, with the framework of Law no 2821 Union Law in details; the establishment and course of Employee and Employer Organization. After evaluating employee and employer organizations' expiry and provisions in the framework of Law no 4688 Public Servant Union Law in details the establish, organs,authorizations and actions of union and confederation of public servants, the rights and responsibility of public servants who serve in union and confederation, the elements related to collective bargaining between public servant unions and confederations in each service line and Public Employer Committee will be evaluated.
